The students and faculty of GISD have lost their biggest and most influential advocate, Mr. Ed Clack. Mr. Clack was one of the finest men I have ever known, and he never waivered in his quest to ensure that all the children of GISD, especially those who did not have a loud voice, received the best education the district could provide.
I learned so much from Mr. Clack and stood in awe of his knowledge of the district and his courage to call the Superintendent and Lack of Trustees out when they were not telling the whole story or tried to generate plans that were not fair to all the children of the district. Had they listened to Mr. Clack, I believe GISD would be one of the finest school districts in Texas and we’d have an efficient and transparent administration.
God Bless You Mr. Clack. You will be sorely missed.
